The Story Of Sadie...

| Hi! My name is Sadie. I have a story to tell you. But first, I have a few questions to ask... According to the Good Book that you humans try to live by, it says that the Guy who made all of us animals and you humans, did so after five days of making the land, sky, trees, fruit, and so on. On that sixth day when He put you humans and us critters on Earth, He said it was good. I think He wanted us to take are of each other. Aren't we special, too? There's a lot of people out there making us multiply, but they are not taking care of us. Now -- I'm not saying that all humans are bad. I know there is more good than bad. But the bad ones are sure breaking a lot of hearts. And the good ones do everything they can to help us when we become lost, strayed, sick, homeless, scavenging to find food, or hit by those things that roll down the street. Let me tell you my story... I was about six months old, very skinny, and sick. I was scared, and had no one to love me. My little sister-mate was with me when a lady took us to a place that was cold and dirty, with lots of dogs and cats crying. My sister and I had bad coughs and were very sick. Then a real nice woman named Caryn found us. She took us to a place that had fresh food and water; a place that was clean and warm. And Caryn gave us something that my sister or I had never had: She gave us love. My sister was just too weak. Poor Caryn. She tried so hard to save my sister. I guess that Guy in the sky just needed a little Bouvier Angel. Caryn found me a home with lots of love, and little humans to play with me all the time. And I know they love me a whole bunch. I want to say Thank You to the people who give their time and their love to save little critters like me. If people would take care of the critters they have, and love them, and protect them, then critters would not have to go through what I went through; and good people like Caryn would not have to cry and be sad when they cannot save us. Please do not breed us if you cannot take care of us. Click here to see what I am today!!! (besides happy and loved!) |
