Merlin...

January '98: Merlin with his new "mom" Shirley Taylor. Shirley says that Merlin has settled in quite well. Merlin has new friends that he meets in a nearby dog park every morning. He recently went hiking in the mountains with another family and his best buddy, Grizzly, a Golden Retriever. Shirley and Merlin have been running every day; they are now up to 4 miles. Walks are always fun, with tons of bunnies and birds to get excited about. He still carries his fuzzy toys when he's excited or wants attention. Merlin recently "cut a deal" with Shirley: he allows his wet feet to be wiped in exchange for time on the couch and bed.

Thank you, Shirley, for adopting Merlin and loving him as much as you do!
